1. What cookies are
Small files the website stores in your browser to remember you between pages: for example, that you are signed in or which language you prefer. This policy applies to joyin.work and is published by [pending].
2. Which cookies we use
Only first-party technical cookies, needed for the site to work or to remember your language. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies and there is no cross-site tracking. That is why we show no cookie banner: technical cookies are exempt from consent (Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the AEPD cookie guidelines).

3. Local storage
When you create a meeting without signing in, the browser stores the key joyin_host_<code> in local storage; it identifies you as the host of that room. It leaves your browser only to enter that room and is removed when you clear site data.
4. How to manage them
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). If you block the technical ones, you will not be able to sign in as a host and the site will not remember your language; joining a meeting as a guest keeps working.
5. Changes
If we ever add a cookie that requires consent, we will update this page and ask for consent before setting it, with “Accept” and “Reject” at the same level.
